Rebecca Richardson (Principal Psychologist)

Rebecca (Bec) Richardson is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners’ Registration Agency (AHPRA) and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Bec has a special focus on self-esteem issues, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, Adult ADHD and trauma therapy.

Bec endeavours to create a warm, relaxed and welcoming environment for her clients, which allows them to explore their challenges in a compassionate and uplifting atmosphere. She works together with her clients to help them to understand their struggles without judgement. Drawing upon their strengths, she seeks to equip and empower her clients to cope more effectively with life’s challenges and to create lasting positive change in their lives.

Bec has conducted research in the areas of emotional intelligence, coping and academic performance in adolescents. She has also conducted research on the challenges and impacts of family structure and parenting styles on families.

Bec uses individualised evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

Bec is skilled at administering and assessing a wide variety of psychological tests.

Bec sees clients across the life-span.

Outside of work Bec likes to spend time with her two teenage children and four animals including a Bordoodle (Barkley), Maltese x Pomeranian (Willow) and two cats (Arthur & Loki). Bec has previously worked as a surgical veterinarian nurse and still holds a passion for all animals.

Unfortunately, Bec is not currently taking on any new patients.

 

Guillermo Garcia Castillo (Clinical Registrar Psychologist)

Also known as William, Guillermo is a Clinical Registrar Psychologist from Spain and a member of the Australian Health Practitioners' Registration Agency (AHPRA); who enjoys working with teenagers, adults, elderly and their families. With a clinical focus on diagnosed and undiagnosed Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) clients; as well as with clients from diverse and/or migrant backgrounds and ethnicities.

 Guillermo bases his skills and sessions around the evidence-based therapies of Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). He will support your own journey of self-understanding and awareness of how your experiences and the way you've lived them led you to be the person you are now. Assisting you in overcoming the challenges and barriers you struggle with. With Guillermo, you will own your achievements, mistakes and learnings.

 Guillermo's experience comes from several years working withing the Private Practice sector in Adelaide and the Aged Care Industry in both Australia and Spain. He's experienced in the treatment of Anxiety and Depression disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Trauma.

 Outside of work, you won't find this Spaniard drinking red wine and watching soccer, but will most likely find him involved within the rugby community and enjoying time with his wife and son. Eventually he'll venture into a DIY project or two that he will most likely be left unfinished for a while...

 Guillermo can deliver therapy in both English and Spanish. He's also capable of performing ADHD Assessments.

 

Isabella Damiris (Clinical Psychologist)

Isabella Damiris is an experienced Clinical Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).

 Isabella has a special interest in treating anxiety conditions (including Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Panic Disorder) and trauma. She is also experienced in treating Depression, stress, interpersonal issues, and adjustment difficulties. Isabella works with older adolescents (16+) and adults. 

 Isabella uses therapeutic modalities that are backed by research and known to improve well-being. These modalities include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema-Informed Therapy. 

 Isabella provides a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental therapy space. Her goal is to make each individual she works with feel seen, understood, and accepted just as they are. She works collaboratively with clients to help them develop greater self-understanding and assists them in implementing effective strategies to overcome challenges. She is passionate about helping individuals re-engage in life and thrive as their most authentic selves.

 When not working, Isabella enjoys exploring surrounding areas, cooking in the kitchen, and engaging in creative hobbies.

Rita Crescitelli - Practice Manager/Superstar Admin

Rita has over 20 years of clinical practice experience. She has worked in General Practice’s, public hospitals and in private practice for Psychiatrists.

Rita has a beautiful caring and friendly nature. She loves talking to people and endeavors to make everyone feel safe and cared for. Rita takes great pride in creating a welcoming environment and will always go above and beyond to help clients with any concern.

Rita comes from an Italian background, which is expressed to it’s fullest with her warm smile, laughter and people-first attitude. Rita loves her family and will proudly enter any conversation about her beautiful boys - hubby and two teenager boys x

Rita enjoys listening to 80’s music - Bon Jovi Baby! Loves a good Netflix ‘n’ Chill day and can get quite excited about her beloved footy. Rita is a Port Power girl through and through…… Let’s say it’s interesting with the Show Downs are on…. Bec is a Crows supporter!
